What are NANO Brows?
Nano Brows just might be for you if you desire a very soft looking brow! This semi-permanent procedure is for every skin type, and age, regardless of skin texture! It is a less invasive approach for eyebrows and most clients heal faster and easier than Microblading. This technique is great for those that do have hair but want that soft filled in look.
How does it work?
Nano Brows uses a tattoo rotary handheld machine to create tiny hair-like strokes, and can also be used to create a soft pixelated shaded look for those that have lighter hair color (the end result looks like if you would use a colored pencil to fit in.) The pigment is deposited into the epidermal layer of the skin in a less evasive manner than Microblading. Due to the pigment fading over time, it is recommended to have a touch up done every 2-3 years to maintain results.
What to Expect During Your Treatment?
Plan to schedule 2.5-3 hours for your appointment block. The first step is have an in-depth consultation with you about your preferences and lifestyle. Secondly, I measure, measure and measure some more to balance out any asymmetry. Sometimes mapping takes the longest! Eyebrow mapping is done before the procedure to ensure you like how the end result will look, and I often fill in with a similar pencil so the client can visualize the end result. I measure and draw the outline of the desired eyebrow shape and show you prior to starting the procedure.
Does it hurt?
To be honest, I've had some clients flinch, and tear up and others who said it felt like a cat scratch. It really depends on your own individual pain tolerance. I am in constant communication with you and can re-apply the numbing cream. Although NANO Brows is less invasive and therefor does not hurt as much as Microblading.
The Healing Process
After the NANO Brow procedure is complete your newly created eyebrows cannot get wet for 10 days (droplets of water is fine, complete submerging is not.) For 10 days prepare to not participate in any activity that makes you heavily sweat.
You can expect for the first couple of days, the color of your new brows being bolder, and darker or even red in color. Flaking and scabbing can start after 4-5 days. It is very important not to pick at these flakes or scabs. Picking can pull out the pigment leading to loss of color in those spots.
The healing process on average takes a full 14 days, with the final result showing 21 days after the initial procedure. A touch-up appointment is needed 6 weeks after the initial appointment to make any adjustments as does have a cost. Please see my additional page for pricing.
